Let's inspire young students to make a change/ Let's nurture young social advocates

There are a lot of negative notions surrounding the youth. Some believe that we, the X-Factor generation, are more consumed with fame and fortune than the sincere care for our community. However, young heroes such as Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate, and our very own Tafara Makaza of the UNDP’s Generation 17, have defied that notion. They have shown that we are a generation of visionaries, advocates and entrepreneurs working towards a more socially-conscious and equitable future. As such, our goal is to add to that number with everyday changemakers, such as you and me. We are strapping in and giving whatever we can, wherever we can.

Let's raise more awareness

There is a lot of opportunity disadvantage in our country and it goes unnoticed under the mound of challenges we face daily as a nation. The hardest hit is the next generation of adults who will be responsible for developing our society. We are those people. Our current state of affairs likely means that the vast majority of us with be left ill-equipped to take on the reality of a modern, high-tech world. Something must be done to curtail this, and we aim to spotlight these problem areas so that we can collectively work to remedy them.
